Jet Fighters at Luke AFB, March 15, 1990: In 1990, General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcons, McDonnell-Douglas F-15 Eagles, and McDonnell-Douglas F-15E Strike Eagles were based at Luke Air Force Base. The base was also used by visiting Grumman F-14 Tomcats, Fairchild Republic A-10A Thunderbolt IIs, and North American F-86 Sabres.
